Bertie’s
A specialist pancake restaurant, Bertie’s
took its name from a fictitional World War 1 flying ace.
Barrie designed the identity then gave the restaurant an
even more distinctive look by ‘crashing’ a life
size replica of a Sopwith Camel through the wall. The bricklayers
took a while to get the idea, but the patrons loved it!
The tale section of the plane was added to the external
wall of the building and attracted its fair share of attention.
